I was genuinely dreading getting a storage locker for a recent move, but Apple made it a solid experience. The staff were all extremely helpful and the price was under what I expected. We had one small hickup, but the staff solved it all for us in under a day.

Melissa is awesome. Every time I had a payment issue or storage question for my belongings, she was really quick to answer, provided the basic information to resolve my issues and always was cordial and polite in all of my conversations with her (without exception) - and I am extremely demanding but polite about it. I have been a tenant with Apple for over 20 years in Dieppe NB Canada. Simply put, I love talking with her because she is full of positive energy. Why can't we work more with people like her. After a very long drive from Halifax we arrived late at our storage facility due to the storm we drove through, with 2 U-hauls and hired movers ready to unload, only to discover it was closed. The sign also indicated they would be closed the next day. In a moment of pure panic I decided to try the emergency number posted in the window. As soon as I heard the friendly voice on the other end of the line I knew everything would be okay. Angie came straight to the depot, several hours after they had closed, with a smile on her face. She was incredibly compassionate and helpful, and somehow did not seem in the least bit annoyed that she was there on her off time. She mentioned how much she enjoyed her job, which was apparent throughout our entire interaction. When I asked about the beautiful furniture pieces in the office she explained she wanted the space to feel warm and not so transactional as these were people’s beloved belongings. I know an exceptional employee when I see one, and that is Angie. She went above and beyond for us, and I can tell she does this regularly. I can’t possibly thank her enough and I want to make sure her higher ups recognize the star they have in her!

The Manager is so user friendly, helpful, patience and supportive. For a newcomer and first time user, he has given valuable advice to us. The space is located conveniently in the North side of Saint John. Accessing the premises is convenient and loading is easy and private. Security arrangement is perfect which comfort us a lot. Though we have rented the smallest one; it gives ample space to store what we need.

Probably the best self storage facility in halifax, mainly because of its location in Chebucto Road which is really convenient, compared to U haul in bayers lake. The Facilities itself could be a bit hard to find at first but overall its really secure building with two entrances with cameras everywhere. You could enter through the office or a big garage type entrance good for vehicles with a keypad to enter. Sometimes I am concern when I show up to get some personal belongings and the door is wide open. Once inside there is another door with a keypad and several carts to carry heavy items (also you have to purchase your own locks for your unit).

In my opinion Apple Storage is an exceptional storage facility. I have had my belongings there for two years and have been met with nothing but a professional experience. The manager Keli, is friendly and approachable and keeps the facility well run, clean and organized. Every day she or her staff check units to make sure they are properly locked. She or her staff are onsite 6 days a week 9-5. The units range in size from 10 x 24, 10 x 20, 10 x 10 and 5 x 5 perfect sizes for a boat, a car or a trailer and the facility is more than competitive in pricing. The units are on an initial concrete pad of 3 inches then an additional pad of 1 inch. This prevents any possibility of flooding but also allows for air circulation, as does the insulated ceiling, which also prevents excess cold or heat in the units. All of this also prevents mould growth and rust formation because it blocks the formation of moisture. The units are in impeccable condition with 0 rust anywhere. End units are on beams 8 inches off the ground for air circulation. The facility is gated with an entry key pad and there are security cameras everywhere on the premises. There are indoor heated units as well. There is strict rodent control with black box traps and traps also placed at the back fence to a grassy field to stop rodents from entering the facility. The pavement slopes toward storm drains to prevent flooding. There are lights at the outside of the corridor units to allow for night work. If you find you need packing supplies they have that too. If your belongings are worth storing, they're worth storing in the right place.

Stored my things here for three years. Staff were always friendly, property was always clean, well lit and all facets always worked. Never had any issue getting into or out of the property and zero problems with the unit where my belongings were stored. Management were quick to respond to emails and voice mails and rapidly acted on any issues they deemed a security risk.

She was upfront and honest about the cost and explained what was expected of me and vice versa. Storage units were easy to get to and clean. Definitely recommend reaching out to Charlie if you're in need of some extra space.

The ease of accommodation and convenience of not having any elevators to deal with was great. The manager Barb was very communicative about any discount offers they have from time to time, and the amount I would be charged. I truly enjoyed having my belongings stored there.

She explained all the details and took the time to give me a tour of the facility and the different sizes available. It's very clean and tidy, well lit, and the temperature of the building is consistent throughout. The loading bay is covered making loading and offloading very convenient, rain or shine. The service and rates were the best in the area. Tom the new Site Manager is very knowledgeable and helpful which adds a tremendous benefit to this location. I highly recommend this new location. He supported us during our changes and worked with us to ensure we continued to have access and change the ownership of the unit to us. Thank you Chris for all the great support! The unit itself is great, the area is very clean and I would definitely use it again.

Great staff, very easy check in and storage! We got the 5x5 smallest unit and it fits all of our bins! The place is secure and safe. Cathy was a pleasure to deal with! Would definitely recommend.

We’ve been using Apple Storage lockers for quite some time now. We had an indoor unit over at the Edward/Redwood location and we had nothing but the best and utmost courteous service from all the staff. Always smiling, always polite and helpful. We now have a few outdoor units over at the Hewitson location and the staff are equally as polite and helpful. We’ve dealt with Silvio on a few occasions and l he was not only courteous and helpful, but he’s gone above and beyond expectations, to accommodate us and our needs. Having storage lockers at other places in town, I can easily say that Apple Storage is the top of the tier in storage facilities. Great prices and great people. I also noticed that between having outdoor units at other places versus Apple Storage, Apple’s yard is kept nice and clean and not a messy mud hole. I’ve literally been stuck in the mud and up to my ankles in puddles. Never been an issue at Apple. Well done and bravo to everyone at Apple Storage and you’ve got customers for life!! I just started working for a company where I’m consistently at this self storage picking up and dropping off shipments. I don’t have much experience with knowing the process of having a storage unit but Jeff has been going above and beyond with giving me a walk through tutorial from asking to get the key to properly organizing garbage and pallets at the front. He’s been patient and kind and would definitely recommend going to him with any questions or concerns you have. Now I feel more confident and comfortable coming to this location knowing what I need to do and doing it the right way.

Just recently rented a storage unit. Melissa was very clear with all costs and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. This location seemed very secure and was very well kept.

The prices are really reasonable, staff are friendly and very clean as well. Would highly recommend this location.
